6-酮-前列環素F1α（6-keto-PGF1α）是前列環素（PGI2）的穩定水解產物。由于前列環素在緩沖液中的半衰期很短（2-3分鐘），通常通過測量尿液中的6-酮-前列環素F1α代謝物及其衍生物2,3-二酮-前列環素F1α來監測前列環素的產生。前列環素具有自分泌功能，包括抑制血小板聚集、抑制加壓激素導致的血管收縮反應、血小板解聚等特性以及生殖功能。這些效應是由受體介導的cAMP的升高所引起的。前列腺素在動脈粥樣硬化和保護心肌缺血方面有臨床應用。
